Dr. Scott Kamelle is a leader in the field of Gynecologic Oncology, with a career defined by a commitment to excellence, compassion, and innovation. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and completing his medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine, Dr. Kamelle underwent rigorous training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Pennsylvania. He later specialized in Gynecologic Oncology through a Fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

Throughout his career, Dr. Kamelle has contributed significantly to advancing the understanding and treatment of ovarian and uterine cancers. From serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison to chairing Aurora Health Care’s Robotic Steering Committee for over a decade, his dedication to patient-centered care and education is evident.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Kamelle is an advocate for research and education. His work has led to groundbreaking insights in areas such as ovarian carcinoma and HPV prevalence. Through initiatives like this award, he continues to uplift and empower the ovarian cancer community, helping survivors share their stories and inspire others.
